AFTER-HOURS CHECK-IN: Reception closes at 9:00 p.m. If you are going to arrive after hours, please contact us before 9:00 p.m. as we will require credit card details in order to leave a key out for you. Please note that there is an after-hours call-out fee of NZ$25 if you have not contacted us in advance to let us know you will be late.
BOOKINGS: Bookings made without a current/valid credit card are regarded as unconfirmed and may be cancelled with the unit/s being on-sold if required without prior notice. Please note that there is a 2% transaction fee when using AMEX cards, no transaction fees for Visa or Mastercards. Where an invalid credit card has been used to make a booking, a bond may be required at time of check in. All financial transactions are made in New Zealand currency and any refunds are not liable to any other bank fees and/or currency exchange charges.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations up to 48 hours before the reservation date incur no fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the reservation date will be charged 100% of the first nights tariff. Guests who fail to arrive without notification will be charged 100% of the first nights tariff. Group bookings of three or more units require a deposit of one nights accommodation, paid one month prior to arrival and this is non-refundable.
CHANGES TO BOOKINGS: Any changes to a current booking will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may incur an additional fee unless the motel management approve and are able to re-let the booked accommodation.
CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT: Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. We will endeavour to have the units ready by 2:00pm, however we do not accept any liability should there be a short delay should your unit not be ready during peak periods. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. on the day of your
departure. Late check-out is by prior arrangement and is subject to conditions.
If available, a late check-out fee of NZ$30 per hour applies until midday, or a
full nights tariff if later than midday.
CREDIT CARD GUARANTEE: Credit cards may be pre-authorised at any time prior to arrival. Invalid credit cards may result in the booking being cancelled.
DAMAGE/BEHAVIOUR: The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons in their party and their visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel and any recovery fees will be charged to the registered guest. Where damage has occurred, a bond will be held on the credit card until the actual costs of repair and or replacement are known and any associated costs. We reserve the right to cancel bookings in the event of abusive or threatening behaviour made prior to or upon arrival or at any stage during the stay without refund.
EXTRA PERSON CHARGES: Room tariff is for 1 - 2 guests. Extra person charges are applied to all additional guests staying in the unit and/or sleeping in their vehicle and using motel facilities. Contact management for extra person rates.
PETS: We do not allow pets in the motel units. If pets are taken into the units without management knowledge, an extra cleaning charge will apply.
OVERDUE ACCOUNTS: Accounts are payable on departure, unless prior arrangements have been made with management. We reserve the right to charge overdue/recovery fees on all accounts not paid by due date.
SMOKING : All of our units are non-smoking. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside, away from open windows, doors and other guests, especially children, and designated non-smoking areas. Please place cigarette butts in the ash trays provided. In the event of anyone having smoked in the unit, accommodation will be terminated immediately without reimbursement of room or any other payment. We reserve the right to charge cleaning costs of NZ$200 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
STRONG-SMELLING FOOD: The cooking of strong-smelling food is not permitted in our motel units in order to avoid lingering odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests. In the event of strong-smelling food odours in the unit, we reserve the right to charge cleaning costs of up to NZ$200 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
VISITORS: Visitors are permitted at the managements discretion and are asked to leave the motel no later than 10:00 p.m.
UNDER 18 Years: Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guest of 18 years or over.
